Dan lives in Kernersville with his wife, Val, and son Rowan, as well as their 4 pet chickens. When he is not inspecting roofs you can find him hunting, fishing, or backpacking. In 2014 Dan embarked on a 6 month hike of the Appalachian trail from Georgia to Maine in which he and a friend raised over $7,000 for Camp Victory Junction which provides a free summer camp for children with chronic and terminal illnesses.
